I have this addiction.
It’s called photography…
I am addicted to all things photography related. I’m addicted to more lenses, finding the perfect camera bags, and all other sorts of gear.
So… I have the following lenses: Nikon 50mm f/1.8, Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8, Nikon 105mm f/2.8 (LOVE), Nikon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 VR and my newest, the Nikon 85mm f/1.8.
I wanted a new lens..I wanted a BIG lens… a ZOOM lens.. the Tamron 150-600mm VR! I contemplated purchasing it. But then I received an email from BorrowLens.com telling me of a special promotion they were running. If I rented a lens for 7 days I got 7 days free!.. Well I have never rented a lens before so I thought what the heck. For $106 and some change I could try out the lens I wanted for 14 days!! So I did it.
Here are the result of the 14 days…(all shot on the tripod except the squirrel which was hand held – Aperture priority at 600mm)
The lens was great, but I decided not to purchase because I don’t think I would use it except for shooting the birds on my feeders at our camp in Indiana.
I’ve joined some awesome photographers for a monthly circle blog. Check out Emily Kohl to see what her story is for this month!
Please keep the circle going until you end up back here!
Thanks for stopping and don’t forget to stop back next month for the next “Tell me a Story” post!
