Last Monday we got a snow storm, they were predicting up to 8 inches of snow and I think we only got about 3…
I shot some Magnolia tree buds.
Then this past Wednesday I didn’t even know it was going to snow until we left for work and walked outside.. I think we got about 4 inches overnight! Last night they were predicting 4 to 8 inches depending on your area. I’d say we got another 4 to 6 easy. We needed to do some grocery shopping, so we ventured out.
We decided to stop for some lunch before the grocery (always a good plan to not go into the store hungry)
We weren’t long at the small Mom and Pop Restaurant close to the house. Maybe 30 minutes or so, when we came out it looked like this.
Snowing to beat the band!
When we got home, after putting away the groceries I decided to grab my 105 MM f/2.8 Macro lens and my “camera rain cover” and go for a walk to shoot some white stuff!
This is what I ended up with!
I have a hard time shooting in the winter due to my glasses steaming up and I can’t see much through the viewfinder. I guess I should have used live view!.. oh well.. will try that next snow storm!
